1. Who we are
Madrid.TV ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at madrid.tv as a single-domain private acquisition page. We are a privately held domain owner. For questions about this policy, write to offers@madrid.tv.
2. What information we collect
We collect a deliberately small amount of information:
- Information you send us by email. When you write to offers@madrid.tv (or any address at the domain), we receive your email address, message contents, and any information you choose to include — for example, your name, organization, offer amount, intended use, and supporting context.
- Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting platform (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request data: IP address, timestamp, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and response status. This data is generated automatically by the visit and is retained by Cloudflare in accordance with its own data retention policies.
- No cookies set by us. Madrid.TV does not set first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or session purposes. Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary security cookies; see the Cloudflare privacy notice for details.
- No third-party trackers. We do not embed analytics scripts, advertising pixels, social media trackers, or any third-party JavaScript that collects personal information.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry or offer.
- To maintain a record of past correspondence in the event of follow-up.
- To operate, secure, and protect the site against fraud, abuse, and technical attack (via Cloudflare's standard security measures).
- To comply with applicable legal obligations, court orders, or law-enforcement requests where legally required.
We do not sell or share personal information, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not transfer it to third parties except as required to operate the site (e.g., the hosting provider) or as required by law.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the legal bases on which we process personal data are:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — when you choose to send us an email.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for site security and the prevention of fraud and abuse. We have determined our interest in operating a secure website does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) — where applicable.
5. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") where applicable.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., your country's data protection regulator).
To exercise any of these rights, write to offers@madrid.tv. We will respond within one month.
6. Your rights (CCPA / CPRA — California residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties (if any) with whom we share it. (See Sections 2 and 3 above.)
- Access and portability — request a copy of the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Deletion — request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to specified exceptions.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — Madrid.TV does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, but you have the right to confirm this.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect or process sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise these rights, write to offers@madrid.tv. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
7. Data retention
We retain email correspondence for as long as it is reasonably useful for the purpose of evaluating, completing, or following up on an inquiry, and thereafter for a reasonable period to support business and legal record-keeping. Server logs at Cloudflare are retained per Cloudflare's standard policies.
8. International transfers
The site is served via Cloudflare, which operates a global content delivery network. Your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland are made under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with modern TLS. We follow reasonable industry practices to protect personal data, but no method of internet transmission or storage is perfectly secure. To report a security vulnerability, see our security.txt.
10. Children's privacy
Madrid.TV is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please write to offers@madrid.tv.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on this page.
